Serving in India
Since 2005, CBC have been supporting work in India with a church planting team that works with a poor tribal group in India called the Charan. The Charan are very poor buffalo farmers. There are currently no churches amongst them. The Charan call themselves devi-putra which means ‘sons of the goddess’ but we believe that they need to see their true identity as ‘Raja-putra’ or ‘Sons of the King’.
It is our heart to see not just churches started among Charan communities but the fullness of the Kingdom of Heaven come among them. Their vision is to see the inheritance of the Charans changed so that they may inherit the Kingdom of God through knowing Jesus Christ.
