Light House (BB10) Cambodia
The Light House home in Battambang, Cambodia is the 10th home in the Asia’s Hope community complex. Caringbah Baptist Church raised the funds to build the home 12 years ago and then have funded the expenses of the Lighthouse Family, as our main mission project all these years. The house is parented by a full-time house mum and dad, Chrep and Saret. Saret and Chrep live in the home and have raised their own biological children alongside the Asia’s Hope kids. Our Lighthouse kids are not treated as patients or boarders, rather they have become brothers and sisters, sons and daughters. The Light House functions as a family; the kids do chores, cook together, eat very healthy food together, do homework together after they attend their local school and go to church together. In the context of this loving home, our financial support towards the home has ensured the children receive the support and care they need to reclaim their lost childhood and build the foundations for a successful future in Christ.

Our last mission trip was in January 2025.

Each day the Light House kids learn more about Jesus and how to follow Him. On our mission trip in January 2024, 16 of the Light House kids were baptised!

These 6 Light House kids have recently graduated from school. Praise God.
