CBC UPDATE   –   Friday 23 October 2020

Hi CBC Family

With an easing of restrictions coming into effect today, we trust that we will see you here at CBC for our Freedom In Christ vision service. There are a number of developments that I need to share with you:

SUNDAY WORSHIP
OUR 9:30AM SERVICE 25TH OCTOBER:  This Sunday, we will be richly encouraged by our vision service as we open God’s word to discover that we are loved and held by God, along with hearing how we can continue to bless our local community. If you are well, please come to church. If you cannot come to church, maybe you could invite someone from CBC to watch our service with you via our live streaming.

CAR PARK:  Just a reminder that when you drive into our car park our attendants will be directing you to park your car in a different direction. We are currently exploring an exciting Christmas event in the car park and this is important in our planning and consideration. I thank you for your assistance and patience in advance.

KIDS MINISTRY:  Currently our kids team is pausing the kids ministry filming as we aspire to have all families return to our live worship service. As the weeks unfold we will review this step as we also understand that some families may not be ready to come back yet. Our kids team is certainly keen to see you at CBC this Sunday as we count it a real privilege to partner with you in your spiritual parenting.

OUR 5:00PM SERVICE 25TH OCTOBER:   Will continue as normal. There is no live streaming of the service, so we do encourage you to come along if this is your regular service. This Sunday, we will be richly encouraged by our vision service as we open God’s word to also discover that we are loved and held by God.

If you are coming to church, please arrive early. When you enter the church through our main doors you will need to use sanitiser, have your attendance recorded and answer our COVID health question by our COVID warden. Once inside the church, we do need to remain socially distanced 1.5 meters apart. If you are unwell or have travelled overseas, to Victoria, or any of our local COVID hot spots in the last two weeks, please remain at home.

CBC UPDATE   –   Wednesday 21 October 2020

Hi CBC Family

It’s certainly pleasing to write to you following today’s announcement by the NSW Government that there will be an easing of restrictions for Places of Worship. “Treasurer Dominic Perrottet confirmed religious gatherings of up to 300 people would be allowed from Friday, October 23 – excluding weddings and funerals”. Currently, the government COVID-19 web page is yet to be updated and the fine detail needs to be filled in, but on the surface it does appear that from this Sunday our site limit can be lifted from 100 to 300.

What great timing! This Sunday we are hosting a Freedom in Christ Vision Service and if you are well and able, I would passionately encourage you to come.

We do understand that it may not be the right time for you to come in person so we are continuing our live streaming of the AM service. However, we are pausing the kid’s ministry filming as we aspire to have all families return to our live worship service. We would really love the privilege of partnering with you in the spiritual parenting of your kids. Our kid’s team is certainly keen to see you at CBC this Sunday.
