CBC UPDATE   –   Friday 9 April 2021

Hi Church Family

Now that we have celebrated the death and resurrection of our Lord, we desire to actively participate in Christ’s mission through our Freedom to Bless vision. May the Lord use us to be His river of blessing to all we meet and come into contact with. Our Easter services were so moving and I really want to take this moment to thank all our volunteers for their service. From our creative servers to our tech crew, our stewards, musicians, preachers and logistic support team, we deeply thank you for your heart for Jesus and His church at CBC!

Please read on for information about this Sunday and our Community News:

The 9:30 am service will continue in-person and live-streamed through the CBC website (click here to access). We look forward to stepping into a new AM preaching series, When He Returns. We will be unpacking Matthew chapter 24 as Jesus wants us to know that He is returning and while we wait we must serve Him with all of our lives. We look forward to worshipping God with you as we also take a moment to reflect on Easter together.

CBC Kids during school holidays: Our children will be catered for during the Sunday services in the School Holidays, with a play & games program. Preschool children will be in the BeeHive Room, please send some morning tea with your child. Cool House & Gener8 children will combine and meet in the Fitness Room in the Sports Centre, please bring a water bottle.

The 5:00 pm service this Sunday, we have our Student pastor Amy Langford preaching. Please come to support Amy and be encouraged as she opens up the word of God for us. It is such a blessing to see out the weekend with a really dynamic service that continues to Lift up our Lord in praise and worship.
