CBC UPDATE   –   Friday 17 September 2021

Hi Church Family

We are really looking forward to Freedom Sunday! This week across our services we will start a two week NOT for SALE project, standing alongside International Justice Mission (IJM). Across the world, IJM have scheduled the 19th September as Freedom Sunday, an opportunity for the Global Church to stand as one in the fight against human trafficking. Therefore, we desire to ADVOCATE, GIVE and PRAY for those held in Bonded Labour in SE Asia over the next two weeks. Also, on Wednesday 22nd September we will be holding Justice Hour between the times of 8pm-9pm, essentially praying in your own home. Videos and prayer points have been uploaded to our website (caringbahbaptist.org.au) along with an opportunity to make a tax-deductible donation.

Please read on for information about this Sunday, as well as our Community News at the bottom of the email:

As Lead Pastor, I am continually concerned for how long lock down will go. I am concerned for those living alone, the grieving, where there is loss and struggles. Please, reach out to your church family if you need help or assistance, we need to be here for each other. You can also contact the church office (9524 2709 or office@ecbc.org.au). We are here and are keen to pray and help provide whatever practical support we can at this time.

We look forward to connecting with you this Sunday, and again, please contact us if we can support you in any way.
In Christ,

Pastor Paul

CBC UPDATE   –   Friday 10 September 2021

Hi Church Family

It has been wonderful to do some good this week for our frontline workers in our hospitals that are working under some really challenging circumstances. Thanks for your generosity, we have been able to deliver our food items to Liverpool Hospital this week. Our donations close off today. Please read on in community news about how we have been a great river of blessing. Also in our Community News is an important first statement from our Leadership. We met last week to start our discussion around pre-opening compliance. I want to assure you that we are also working with the Baptist Association and our desire is to give clear guidance for our church through this difficult time.
