Hi Church Family,
What a wonderful Christmas Concert we had last Sunday! Over 400 people came to CBC on Sunday night to celebrate the birth of Jesus and, as always, it was creative, fun and joyful Christmas celebration. A huge thank you goes to Jill Hubbard and the many, many volunteers who helped make the concert such a great success.
This Sunday, in our 9:30am service Pastor Sam will be wrapping up our Meet your Maker series with a message on “Meet the Truth”, and we will be lighting the final Advent candle, representing ‘Peace’. In our 5pm service we will be having the COAH Christmas Special, with Pastor Andrew speaking on “He is All”, a variation on the World Cup theme, “Now is All”.
As a reminder of what’s coming up over the next few weeks:
Kids ministry will run as normal this Sunday and then during January will have a holiday program: Beehive (AM) and Cubby (PM) beginning as normal at the start of the service, while Cool House and Gener8 (AM) combine and begin at the back of the auditorium after the opening worship has finished. For youth, Friday Night Youth wraps up tonight and then youth ministries will be off until the start of Term 1 next year.

Hi Church Family,

1. On Sunday 4th December at 11:30 AM at CBC we have our AGM
2. On Sunday 11th December at 6:30 PM we have our Christmas Concert. Its important to note that the 9:30 AM is ONLINE ONLY.
3. On Sunday 25th December we have our 9:00 AM Christmas service
We certainly look forward to connecting with you across these dates. For more information about what’s going on across our CBC Community please see the Newsletter below.
In our services this Sunday we’ll be finishing our series called “Greater Than”. We desire to give a reason for the hope we have in Christ through the topic of Hedonism (pleasure) this week. In both services Pastor Andrew will be exploring how Christianity really stands out on our groaning planet, may we share with our world Jesus Christ with gentleness and respect.
The 9:30am service will be online and in-person, while the 5:00pm service will be in-person only.
Our regular children’s and youth ministries for Term 4 are back on again, which involves:
