Small groups form a part of the overall church structure – but do not replace it.  Gathering together as a large church on Sundays is important as we come together to celebrate our faith.  However as we know too well it does have its limitations when it comes down to building deep personal relationships with one another.

The Christian life is not meant to be lived solo – we go shoulder to shoulder with other Christians, so much so that the bible likens us to ‘soldiers’ and ‘family’ (1 Corinthians 9:7, Philippians 2:25, 2 Timothy 2:2-4, Philemon 1:2, Galatians 6:10, 1 Peter 4:17)

At CBC our small groups provide

  • A place where a small team of members can exercise Christian service together
  • A place where members can share their inmost thoughts, struggles, victories, and where they can find real empathy, rejoicing, and true prayer support.
  • A place where real friendship and fellowship can take place
