Our church recognises that being a parent brings with it many challenges. Even getting out of the house can be a massive effort with nappies to change and tantrums to negotiate. CBC Playgroup offers not only clean and safe facilities, but a listening ear and support for those parents who are finding it tough during this stage of life.

Come along, have a coffee, meet and chat to others while your children play.

Our Aim

CBC playgroup wishes to provide an opportunity for parents/carers of babies & pre-school age children in Caringbah and the surrounding areas to meet others

of similar age and life stage. It aims to provide friendship, socialization and support for adults and children in a caring environment.

Co-Coordinators

Our Playgroup is led by co-ordinators from CBC. We not only believe in providing an opportunity for fun, but also wish to reflect our Christian beliefs and values in

all we do. Therefore we say grace before morning tea and may include age appropriate Christian songs at singing time. Can we enco

urage you to join in with your child during craft and singing time? They’ll love you for it!

Important Information

Each week, please sign the attendance sheet. We need to have an accurate record of participants

in case an emergency arises eg fire. There is always someone on site who holds a current Senior First Aid Certificate.

Please make sure you complete and hand in the CBC Playgroup Information Form.

How can you assist?

We ask that each parent/caregiver go on a roster to provide morning tea for the adults, preparing the children’s morning tea and c

leanup, once a

term. This may include cake, slice, tea bun or other.

Please note that CBC Playgroup is a NUT FREE zone for everyone.

Other ways in which your help would be appreciated is in cutting up fruit, helping to pack up, assist your child with craft or join in singing time.

We always aim to maintain a safe environment for adults and children but parents/caregivers are responsible for the supervision and behaviour of their children.

Health & Safety

is a top priority Please keep your child at home if they are unwell. Coughing, sneezing and running noses are contagious!

Let us know if we can assist in any way or if you need support of any kind.

Please remember to keep children out of the kitchen

Cost is $30 per term, payable at the beginning of each new term to Angela, Debi or Yvette.

At the beginning of each term you will receive a newsletter informing you of special events and a peek at what we are doing in Playgroup for that term.

Sunday services 9:30am & 6pm

Children’s programs run during the morning service.

They learn stories from the bible, play games, craft and meet new friends.
